Donner Lake Inn
We are your hosts, Nina and Jim Meehan and family! We are delighted to welcome you to the Donner Lake Inn. We live on property in the main house. We love living in Tahoe and raising our kids with nature as their playground. When we are not running the Inn, Jim works in construction and Nina works in musical theatre and corporate training. As a family, we spend weekends hiking, on paddle boards and cross country skiing. We enjoy being involved in the local Truckee community where we volunteer at the Truckee Humane Society and with the kid’s school. During your stay, we are happy to give you insider tips on our favorite spots to eat, enjoy the outdoors and anything else that we can help with!
Our great location provides easy access to countless summer and winter recreational activities. With only five guest rooms, each with private entrance and bathroom, we offer the ideal mountain experience with personalized concierge service. Book with one of our romance packages!!! Guest rooms are warmed by gas fireplaces. Each with private entrance, shower, window seats with forest views, snuggly bathrobes (available upon request) and high-end linens. Queen-size beds are wrought iron and wood, four-poster, or sleigh. Rooms have comfy chairs with reading lights. . . flat screen TVs with cable and complimentary high speed WiFi. Complimentary parking is within feet of your guest room door.
